Hunting, Fishing, and Outdoor Recreation on Fort Gordon

If you plan on hunting, fishing, or participating in any other outdoor recreation on Fort Gordon, then you will need the appropriate State of Georgia and Fort Gordon hunting or fishing licenses or permits.

Please review the Fort Gordon Hunting, Fishing, and Outdoor Recreation Regulation for installation rules and regulations and check the regulation for any major changes that may have occurred.  All Fort Gordon Recreational Permit holders are responsible for knowledge of and compliance with the Fort Gordon statutes and regulations.

In addition to the specific regulations contained in the Fort Gordon Hunting, Fishing, and Training Area Recreation Regulation, all general state hunting and fishing laws and regulations apply. Carefully review the Georgia Hunting Regulations  and Georgia Fishing Regulations  for information on general laws and regulations relating to hunting and fishing.

Harvesting Forest Products on Fort Gordon

If you plan on harvesting forest products on Fort Gordon, then you will need the appropriate Fort Gordon firewood cutting, pinestraw raking, or forest products permits.

Please check the Forest Products Harvesting Regulations booklet for major regulation changes that have occurred.  All Fort Gordon Recreational Permit holders are responsible for knowledge of and compliance with the Fort Gordon statutes and regulations.
